Port Graves, Gambier, Howe Sound

SV Vesi is headed out to Howe Sound to Gambier, Keats or possibly Anvil (!?) for some important birthday celebrations.

Here is how this works:

  • When you see the slothy Gin Pennant fly, come on over for a beverage.

  • Or if we are around and the conditions are good, perhaps we can organize a raft up!

SV Vesi is a cute little light blue Yamaha 33’.

SV Easy Goin’ will be anchored up on Hornby over the weekend for a good old fashioned shin dig. Join skipper Trevor and crew.

Here is how this works:

  • Get in touch with Easy Goin’ on Slack and make a plan

  • Generally speaking: drop a hook and paddle over (Trevor’s Gin Pennant is literally ALWAYS flying), or if he is around, see if you can organize a raft

SV Easy Goin’ is a 1970’s ketch rig Islander with a proper old bow sprit. Hard to miss.

Wallace Island Float Up

Wallace Island Float Up

Our annual float up, a tradition almost a decade old, but only under the Sea Sloth burgee since 2018.

Details:

  • Lots of anchoring space, but be prepared to stern tie, it will be busy, excellent holding. (Good backup anchorage beyond the bay between the rocks in good holding)

Here is how this works:

  • When you show up at the bay, find a place to drop your hook.

  • If someone has the party burgee flying, paddle on over and introduce yourself, the party burgee is all the invitation you need. In turn - hoist your party burgee if you’re feeling social!

  • Regardless, at 4pm on June 30, float out to the middle of the bay in your tender/paddle board/blow up pineapple and meet some fellow sloths. Make friends, plan cockpit drinks, be merry.
